The theme this week is ‘workout’. I chose a photo of Kemp Muhl for Black magazine by Derek Kettela. I love the concept of subscriber covers and had a lot of fun using vector images of summer food for a June issue.

TFS Vogue Cover Challenge

I’m a member of The Fashion Spot and visit the forums daily. In the magazine section, there is a long-standing thread called the ‘Vogue Cover Challenge’. It’s a weekly competition to design a fantasy Vogue cover around a given theme that is chosen by the previous week’s winner. It’s a fun way to get your design on and a great source of inspiration – if only newstand covers could be as daring!

This weeks theme is Latin/South America and this is what I submitted:
